Today was Ayla's 9-month checkup. She weighs in at 16 lbs, 5 oz and is 28.5 inches tall. She is tall and slender, just like her dad.
While at the doctor, she had to get a finger prick to check her iron. It was her first, and I was nervous. She definitely didn't like it that much, but the bright pink bandaid on her finger made up for the pain. She stared at it the rest of the appointment and the whole ride home. At one point, she tried to throw it on the ground, not realizing that it was attached to her.
