On Oct. 7, Ayla turned 1. It's hard to believe that it's been a year.
Unfortunately with the excitement of her first birthday also came a stomach bug, ear infections and a cold. She also had her 12- month check up, which meant two shots. Needless to say, her actual birthday wasn't that fun; however, yesterday we had a small party to celebrate and that was a huge hit. Here are a few pictures of her very first cupcake. Like her mom, she isn't a huge fan of frosting, but she loved the cake.
