Last Thursday kicked off our Halloween festivities. Ayla met some friends at Byerly's in Edina to do some trick or treating and Halloween activities in the store. I thought this would be a good place to introduce the idea of Halloween to Ayla. All was going well--this is a picture of her anxiously awaiting her trick or treat time around the grocery store--until we waited in line to see the balloon animal making clown who looked more like a zombie. Ayla immediately freaked out and now whenever we say, "trick or treat" she responds with, "clown." I scarred her for life!
