Ayla has set a schedule for herself already at two weeks old—she must take after her mom. She spends her afternoons awake and becoming familiar with her surroundings, before crashing for the night at about 7 or 8 p.m.
Today, instead of fussing up a storm for her mom, she decided to just hang out with her eyes open for awhile. I couldn't help but capture this moment on film. The photo isn't high quality because I took it with my phone, but you get the point.
